Noel Sanger is a pioneering electronic artist who has remained at the frontier of progressive sounds for over two decades. Flying mostly under the mainstream radar, he has cultivated a rich musical history and a dedicated following along the way.

His releases dating back to the 1990s remain in high esteem, and his current work, always critically acclaimed, continues to see top DJ support.

He makes regular appearances in Beatport’s top ten genre charts, and he has seen top tens at the Billboard Dance Club Chart, and the top 15 of UK Musicweek’s buzz chart.

Over the years, his work has been heard on labels such as Black Hole, Spinnin’, Armada, Perfecto, High Contrast, Lost Language, Coldharbour, Mute, Dissident and dozens more.

Noel has remixed or worked with artists like Erasure, Nadia Ali, John Taylor of Duran Duran, and Markus Schulz. The early aughts even saw him touring with Tiesto and mixing the (musically deeper) follow-up to Tiesto’s Summerbreeze compilation for Nettwerk America.

As his sound has evolved, Noel’s label, Dissident Music (est. 2007), has gone from strength to strength. Delivering dozens of Beatport top ten showings from an international roster of talent, including, of course, Noel himself.

As a DJ, Noel has manned the booth at some of the world’s best clubs, playing to hundreds and even thousands of eager clubbers each week. As of 2023, he is once again accepting select tour dates worldwide.

It isn’t always the case that after this many years, an artist remains as creative and relevant as Noel Sanger has, but his current upward trajectory indicates that the best is yet to come.
